FAQs
Will my designs remain confidential?
Yes. We understand the importance of protecting creative ideas. Our team and artisans operate under confidentiality agreements, and design information is shared only with relevant collaborators involved in development and production. We sign an NDA agreement with our partners for shared accountability for confidentiality. We bring transparency by introducing all members of the collective
Will I retain full ownership of my designs and intellectual property?
Yes. Designers retain complete ownership of their designs, patterns, concepts, and intellectual property. Cloud Karigar does not claim ownership over member creations. We sign an NDA agreement with our partners
What if I am not happy with the quality of the Artisan ?
Cloud Karigar team ensures the quality and satisfaction of the outcome. An escalation matrix would be provided to each member to resolve concern.
How much time would it take to make 1 garment or 1 bag?
We provide estimated production time and productivity expectation based on time taken during sampling of a product. We share daily progress reports in your construction. For your reference and guestimate. For your estimation, share a reference with us to provide you estimated sampling and production time
Can I switch the Artisan with a different skill during my subscription Plan?
Yes, if you opt for a annual subscription, you can quarterly switch Artisans based on Skills . Members are required to provide a two-month advance notice to switch Artisan. There is no additional cost for switching artisan during your annual subscription
What if there is a requirement for an additional artisan for a specific duration for increased production?
We also provide small batch manufacturing service from our network of artisan-led workshops who could support for increased production. For Annual Subscription plans, we can onboard freelancing Artisans for a minimum of 1 month period at the same cost of your subscription.
What if there is a minimal requirement for another skill on my garment/accessory?
Master Artisans can support for minimal requirements, however, the feasibility will be decided as per situation.
If I choose to discontinue my subscription, do you provide a refund?
Yes, we do not want our partners to feel stuck. A refund is possible with cancellation fee for annual subscriptions. The members are required to provide a two-month notice. 1 month’s subscription amount will be deducted as cancellation fee to compensate
